Heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems are the key technology of vehicular and indoor environmental control. Its purpose is to provide acceptable indoor air quality and thermal comfort. In the United States, HVAC is a trade name for the HVAC industry, an abbreviation for “heating, ventilating, and air conditioning.” It is one of the largest players in the HVAC industry with more than 22 million customers.
HVAC
HVAC consists of three key components – heat pump, heat Distribution, and condenser. Heat pump provides the energy needed to heat and ventilate indoor air. Heat distribution devices are situated inside the building and provide ductwork and vents for the transfer of heated or cooled air to the different zones of the building. Condenser is responsible for the transfer of heat from the atmosphere to the indoor air. HVAC equipment can be used to control and maintain the temperature of the entire building. HVAC services include installation, maintenance, repair, and replacements of HVAC components.
HVAC technology can also be applied to provide central heating, although most HVAC systems have a cooling effect. Air conditioners and dehumidifiers can also be installed inside buildings. It is important to regularly maintain all ducts and furnaces to ensure proper ventilation and to reduce indoor temperatures. All HVAC equipment should be maintained and serviced regularly to ensure effective operation and long-term use.
